Las RSC (llamadas así por sus siglas en inglés y que significa “Regular Slotted Container”, que traducido al español podria ser: Caja Ranurada de Uso Regular. Las RSC constan de lados y paneles que al momento de ser doblados son iguales el frontal con el trasero y los laterales uno con el otro respectivamente, cabe mencionar también que es el tipo de caja más regular que hay, es más barata y no da dificultades en los procesos de impresión.

Caja con 2 largos, 2 anchos y 1 fondo o alto. Puede venir pegada o engrapada. Este tipo de caja es la más común en el mercado. Consiste básicamente de una pieza con unión pegada o grapada y solapas en la tapa como en el fondo, que se une en el centro.

Todas las aletas tienen la misma longitud, y las dos aletas exteriores tienen como altura la mitad de la anchura de la caja, de modo que se reúnen en el centro de la caja cuando está plegado. Si el producto requiere una superficie plana, incluso inferior, o la protección de dos capas completas, un PAD se puede colocar entre las dos solapas interiores.

Este es un diseño altamente eficiente para muchas aplicaciones. Hay muy pocos residuos de fabricación. La RSC se puede utilizar para la mayoría de los productos y es el estilo de la caja más común.

 

  • Nota: en algunas ocasiones hay cajas RSC con aplicaciones de
  • troquelación alas que comunmente se nombran RSC-troque-ladas,
  • pero no son mas que otra variante de caja, sino que siguen
  • perteneciendo al género RSC por su uso y caracteristicas de fabricación.
